Minister Creecy withdraws covid directions for the environmental sector

On 22 March 2022, the Minister of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries withdrew three sets of Directions aimed at combatting Covid-19 in the environmental sector.
The three Directions that have been withdrawn where published in June and September 2020 and are listed in the schedule to the withdrawal notice and relate to permits and licences issued under NEMA and measures to combat Covid-19 in the forestry sector.
The Department also circulated an Explanatory Document for the withdrawal of various Directions for more information.
