Minister Creecy clarifies date for submission of subsequent Pollution Prevention Plans and provides details regarding carbon budgets

On 22 October 2020 the Minister of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries published a Notice providing important information regarding the submission of Pollution Prevention Plans as required under the National Pollution Prevention Plans Regulations.

In the Notice, Minister Creecy provides that subsequent pollution prevention plans are due to be submitted on 31 May 2021.

The Notice also proposes a process to manage carbon budgets for the period of 1 January – 31 December 2022.
