Draft Biodiversity Economy Strategy

The Draft Biodiversity Economy Strategy was published for comment by the Minister of Environmental Affairs on 9 October 2015. According to the notice under which it was published, it serves as a guide for the sustainable growth of the wildlife and bioprospecting industries and provides a basis for addressing the constraints to growth. The notice also specifies that of identifies clear stakeholder responsibilities and provides for a methodology for monitoring progress of the enabling actions identified in the strategy.
