Convention on the International Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, 1975

The Convention on the Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) entered into force on 1 July 1975. South Africa ratified CITES on 15 June 1975 and has been a member of this convention since 13 October 1975.
