Suzanne joined the Centre’s Mining Programme in January 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Cape Town. After completing her studies, Suzanne completed her articles at Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs Attorneys where she also continued to work as an associate after her admission as an attorney, before leaving to catch the rice harvest season in Japan. Consequently, Suzanne has experience in traditional Japanese rice harvesting and processing. She is happiest when dancing in nature and regards it a blessing to be able to invest her energies in work aimed at the protection of the environment and the relationships of her fellow South Africans with the environment.
