The following records were requested:

  1. All monthly emission reports for all of Eskom’s coal-fired power stations from January 2018 to the date of Eskom’s response to this request;
  2.  All annual emission reports for all of Eskom’s coal-fired power stations from January 2017 to the date of Eskom’s response to this request;
  3.  All records and information regarding the decision-making timelines and mechanisms resolved by the Eskom board to achieve compliance with the AELs and the MES;
  4. All records and reports from Eskom’s ambient air quality monitoring stations compiled from January 2018 to the date of Eskom’s response to this request; and
  5.  Decommissioning plans and budget for Hendrina, Grootvlei, Camden, Arnot, Komati and Kriel coal-fired power stations.

The requested records were partially received and are available from the CER on request.
