Strategic Plans

August 2, 2016 at 3:09 pm

Strategic Plans are provincial and national governmental departments’ and agencies’ chief medium-term planning tools. They set out key objectives of those departments and agencies derived from their statutory mandates and how they plan to achieve those goals. For more information on strategic plans, please see the National Treasury’s Framework for Strategic Plans and Annual Performance Plans.

We have uploaded the most recent strategic plans for relevant national departments:

Section 24 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996

Everyone has the right to an environment that is not harmful to their health or well-being; and to have the environment protected, for the benefit of present and future generations, through reasonable legislative and other measures that prevent pollution and ecological degradation; promote conservation; and secure ecologically sustainable development and use of natural resources while promoting justifiable economic and social development.
